Live the Waterford life

They say that life is what you make it! This is never truer that when referring to Waterford. County Waterford offers a real diversity of lifestyle choices. In Waterford you can live the quiet life - enjoying the beaches, mountain, rivers and forests. Alternatively you can live it up in the larger vibrant towns such as Dungarvan and Tramore offering a range of high quality cafés, bars, hotels and restaurants. The choice is yours. Waterford offers the best of both worlds! It can be done!

Commuting in County Waterford is a pleasure rather than a chore. The quality of the roads infrastructure is excellent, traffic levels are reasonable and the scenery from east to west is so spectacular as to make your journey to and from work a pleasure. However, if commuting is not your thing, the extensive Broadband coverage throughout the county makes tele-working a genuine option. But be warned, the tendency to become a recluse in this chilled out idyll, is all too real. Counteract this by dining out in some of the Ireland's award winning eateries. Take in a show, have a social drink in one of the well-appointed and atmospheric bars or maybe take up a new hobby. Have you ever considered sailing, kayaking, water skiing or windsurfing? Or if that all sounds too energetic, a spot of pottery, art or photography could be just the ticket, or maybe let your creative side rip. Join one of the many dramatic or choral societies.
